Always fresh. Always tasty. Always homemade.

Our Chefs are committed to preparing all of our meals from the freshest ingredients, including our sauces, which are also made right here from scratch. We carve our own steaks and hand-patty our burgers. As a local owned, small business, we purchase locally in the community to stimulate the area's economy whenever possible.


We also compost our fruit and vegetable waste with Chickens year round! Chickens enjoy scratching, searching and digging. This entertains them all day long. It also reduces our waste in local landfills. We support table to farm.

"The Country Bumpkin" Skillet On The Fly Egg Sandwich The Deadwood Breakfast Platter




  Steakhouse Nachos- Our Specialty! Seared steak tenders on a pile of steak fries, topped with jalapeno cheese, lettuce, our own garden-fresh salsa and sour cream. Won the "Best Appetizer in The Northland" by The Reader's People Choice Awards!



Trapper Salad- Fresh bed of lettuce, craisins and walnuts, topped with bleu cheese crumbles and tender grilled chicken. Served with our tangy vinaigrette dressing and fresh-baked dinner roll.  



  Western Burger- Hand-pattied burger, grilled and served on our favorite egg bun. Smothered with BBQ sauce, topped with cheddar cheese and 2 slices of smoked bacon, and served with chips. Award Winning burger 4 years in a row for "Best Burger in The Northland" Contest by The Duluth News Tribune!




Breaded Shrimp Dinner- 8 large breaded & golden-fried shrimp, served on a bed of wild rice pilaf with vegetable, house salad and fresh-baked dinner roll.                                            



  Penne Rosa- Penne pasta with Italian sausage, mushrooms, roasted red peppers & sweet baby peas in our own creamy marinara sauce and a fresh-baked dinner roll.



Spaghetti- Trapper Pete’s specialty… a secret olde world sauce, 2 hand-rolled meatballs, fresh-baked dinner roll and garden salad. Our olde world sauce is an old authentic secret recipe, given to Trapper Pete by a local Italian family restaurant. It’s a privilege & honor to serve it, please give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!  



  Ribeye Steak Dinner- The most flavorful cut! 14 oz. USDA Choice Beef carved right here! Served with your choice of  of two sides. Such as potato, hand-cut steakhouse fries, applewood smoked baked beans, vegetables, coleslaw and a fresh-baked dinner roll.

This tasty meal is also complimented with shrimp, saut
eed mushrooms and onions.



Pete’s Pizza’s- We have specialty pizza’s and build your own right here. Our pizza's are prepared with each order, cooked and served late night until the Saloon closes!
