For some of the best food in the Cloquet/Duluth area you have to stop at Trapper Pete's Steakhouse in Scanlon, MN. Trapper Pete's is a nice casual atmosphere with a beautiful Northwood's decor. The staff is friendly, takes the time to get to know their customer's personally and greets them by name at the door. The portions are large and tasty. My family is making its way through the menu, but we especially enjoy the Philly, the Trapper Wrap, the shrimp, the chicken strips and of course the kids grilled cheese. For variety ask for all of their sauces. They will deliver with a smile! The best bartenders and margarita's in town.

Had a great Date Night with my wife in Saturday. Despite the late hour we had great service, tasty eats, and smooth drinks. A rustic diamond in the rough, it was a great place to get out for an evening.

Had one of the BEST burgers that i have had in a long time!!! Everything was great!! The service was fast and friendly. We will be back to see what is new. Nice to have a good steakhouse in Cloquet. Keep up the good work!!!

Great service tonight! I am so happy to have a place in town to sit and eat outside on a deck and have drinks. Pulled pork sandwich was good, and the penne rosa was delightful. Prices are very affordable!
